Hey everyone! Welcome to 44Gears.

I am Ken Watson, the owner and administrator of this site. I decided to create this site to document my journey of getting back into affiliate marketing after a really long time of being away from it. There is a lot to do to build up this site, but I am really excited about it. Most of the content here will be about CPA marketing (Cost Per Action) to show the ups and downs of affiliate marketing. Along with helping myself re-learn some of the strategies and get introduced to new ones, I hope this can help others along their journey.

I started as an affiliate marketer back in 2009, but it has been off and on. It’s a really exciting industry, but in the end it’s your own business. Looking back, I can see now that being inconsistent is one factor for my slow success using different marketing platforms such as Amazon FBA, PPC, niche sites, etc. I think I must have paid thousands of dollars in courses, membership sites, ebooks, Warrior Special Offers (WSOs), and anything else I thought could help me learning how to make money online. I realized I studied more than actually did the work needed to make money. There were some methods I found that were “easier” than others, such as the Amazon Affiliate Program and Amazon FBA. I also made some money promoting CPA offers on 7Search, but that’s long gone. It’s been a long voyage but I am ready to take on the challenge again.
